Holland's early death doom metallers Sad Whisperings are back in business. More energetic than ever.

A number of shows have already been played with the likes of Deadhead, O.L.T.A.S., Written In Blood and Morning Beloveth, with more to come.

New material has been written and recorded. On october 4 the Strategy of Tension EP was released through Vidar Records, containing 4 brand new tracks and a live recording of The Tombstone. An accompanying video for Strategy of Tension was shot.

On Valentine's day 2026 our full-length The hermit will see the light of day. Containing Strategy of Tension and 7 other new tracks, also released by Vidar Records.

The band originally founded in the early 90s, produced 3 demo tapes and 1 album for Foundation 2000 Records. In 2023 VIC Records released a remastered reissue of the album "SENSITIVE TO AUTUMN" , available on CD and Vinyl, and the remastered demo's on "RETURN TO AUTUMN", available on CD.
